EducationPosts.ie has over 115,000 registered active account holders and issues up to 120,000 email alerts every day to registered job seekers. In 2017 there were 17,000 education related positions advertised on EducationPosts.ie. There were over 17,000,000 page views and over half a million users throughout the year.
Since its initial launch in 2002, EducationPosts.ie, owned and operated by IPPN, has played a pivotal role in the advertising of education related job vacancies across the education sector.
IPPN (www.ippn.ie) was established in 1999 to address school leaders’ professional needs. It is now the officially recognised professional body for leaders of Irish primary schools. It is an independent, not-for-profit voluntary association with a local, regional and national presence.
Recognised by the Minister for Education as an official Education Partner, IPPN works with the Department of Education and Skills (DES - www.education.ie), the National Parents’ Council (www.npc.ie), management bodies, unions, education agencies, academic institutions and children’s charities towards the advancement of primary education.
In 2015, IPPN partnered with the DES and the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD – www.napd.ie) to found and oversee the Centre for School Leadership (CSL - www.cslireland.ie), which is responsible for the development of CPD programmes for current and aspiring school leaders.
IPPN is a member of the International Confederation of Principals (ICP – www.icponline.org) and works closely with NAPD and the Ontario Principals’ Council (OPC – www.principals.ca). These links play an important role in our research and pursuit of best international practice.
